well i got a amd 3000xp banton core, i havent really put my hand into overclocking as of yet and by latest runnings my gefarce 4 is going cause i think it ate my 17 inch monator, my new one is starting to do the same thing ( a minor popping sound, and rezloution to 800x600, but the desktop is still 1024 x 768 ) any one know a good card for about 150$ i was thinking ati 9600 ex, xl, any extra letters/numbers to say it kicks more a$$ looking to get it to about 2.4 ghz from 2.1 ghz

after research 650 - 680$ to build, baybe ill wait to get a better video card and thow my geforce 4 in there and about 20$ per adaptor for contoler for games and 75- 100$ for wireless keyboard and mouse best price of them all 999$ for hd ready 36" tv

working for a company that plays middleman for installations of DTV and home video equiptment for about almost any retailer in the country, and being (not nice word) at buy many best buy customers, think we are best buy, i got a theory to build a box for a home entertaiment system bassically it would be a cable box, Tivo/DVR, game unit, DVD player/burrner and home theater in one box theory so far over clock the athlon xp 2000 i got to about 2 ghz from 1.666 over clock the gig of 2100 memory motherbord with at least 6 usb ports ati 9600 for graphics audigy 2 , high end for sound (7.1 audio) prolly some creative speakers for sound (7.1 complient) tivo type software emulators for everthing from atari 2600 to nintendo 64 tv input card with my lack of knowledge of linux, prolly running win xp home so by quick est of price is at the moment 500$ for the hardware for something you would buy at best buy for about 1000 - 3000$$ thoughts always apperatated

never said i was good at it, just what i like to do, and i was busy aweing the enveroment on farcry... still amazes me Yes, I would have to agree w/ U whole heartedly there Conan4life, the environments in FarCry are simply amazing. I've often stopped in the game to just LOOK @ all that is going on & how WELL it looks. -- Nem also i baught thoes games on the way to bob's house, thats how i play when its fresh just wait till i pratice a bit :evil:

who said anthing about it being frendly... by some of the outrage, i caused in farcry game, i normally go for, vitural, blood and awsome harrass tatics, damageing vhichals( my spelling skillz again ), the magic come out of nowhere point taking , thats just a few of my favorate things

ok getting the feeling of that game down , snipers suck, command mode is cool, net code, needs work, animation of weapons on player chara and accually grabbing them when changeing weapons cool, amamation of eveone else on map bad and jumpy, see net code explosiong knocking down trees directional to blast and building blowing apart (predefinded ish) with low encumberence of netcode, good no sclineced weapons.. that i can find... bad cant do spcial forces attcks with c4 classless system, good CANT REBUILD BRIDGES bad/good point of view here c4 blows up buildings well, outfreakingstanding good :vomit: it comes out of the nose, icky

umm wnylan and massive lan noticed this little groupe' might be fun to thow a little group together, team if you will, and maybe a little battle of the lans OR just live in harmony what ever floats boats, always liked a bit of a compitition (if i could only spell) give them some of the of outr l337 l@nzor p0w0rz

umm with that many coms, just think of the amount of warez, mp3z, and pron that could be had, i rember a frend who went to 75 man fragnation and just was there the whole time downloading mp3s. didnt really go into wah tgames were playing

by my play test the net code needs alot of work, it reminds me of early multi theft auto with other clients hopping around like they have a 200 ping when they are at about 60 to 90 do like the heavly modible land scape buildings and the freedom of chara gen (got a SS looking chara) it needs work

prosecute is too nice... i think execute is a better term

been a slow work in progress in my free time... what little i have... but learning the sand box the engine impresses me more and more, Doom 3 lighting, fog lighted from windows moving light sources, bad ass ai and 6 km of mapping space with a billion of sprites on the screen form the bush as soon as i get that down and the scripting engine... farcry the rpg WOOT!! look for it in 200x "when its done" :rotfl:
