    64bit athlon system

Nice editor PurSuiT, too bad I edited it back again. I think you need a grammar checker

    64bit athlon system

Pursuit is so broke he can't even afford to write a spell check. Am I supposed to program the spell checker application myself?

I wouldn't take what either of them says as anything worth while. Juddog or ParoxysM couldn't even afford the gas money to get out to your place to pick the stuff up let alone buy it from you. Juddog is so broke from paying for EverKrack and World of Wanna-b's that I have only seen him at two LANs ever, so I also doubt you will see him on Saturday.

can I have some of what you're smoking? so we don't get any more posts like THAT one. i will not accept anything less than $950 for the whole system. If I end up selling it peice by peice I will not sell it for less than market value. I priced that exact system on newegg.com to the specs that you have listed. With shipping included it comes to $946 without the LCD. With the adjustment of it being used, unless you’re like me and keep ALL MANUALS, CDs AND PACKAGING, would expect you can get $675 to $700 as a fair price when dealing with anyone who is tech savvy. Anyone not so tech savvy you might be able to get the mark up of putting it all together and installing software for them and with the LCD you might be able to get $1000 to $1100, but you would more then likely be supporting the system if they had any issues.

    Hot Mod

Hot Mod "Well, here is your chance to show what you got and win $500 at the same time. A New winners are chosen every month. Hot Mod has two categories where you can enter your mod, so take a look …"
  10. ATi Catalyst 3,2 - 5,1 driver comparison Site I think is in German, so the translation can be alittle off but that Half Life 2 frame rate ParoxysM post is interesting as per this site they can nolonger test the 5.1 driver "Note: The values of the Catalyst 5,1 are missing so far, since due to some updates the time demo used by Half Life 2 does not function any longer." Also wonder what card they are testing it on as this reviews frame rate are alot lower on the 4.11 and 4.12
  11. Dragon told ya when I added this topic we would get him on it. Damn post counters
  12. ^bumping my questions More information on the LAN 1) "tables/seats for approx 26+, so if you let me know your coming, I'll guarantee you a spot." Have had it full afew times and attendence varies from month to month. Also depending on the game, may have a few remote connected players. 2) "starting at 2pm" and we go till everyone leaves could be 1am could be 5am. Normally only a couple of use stick around real late. 3) Click to vote on top 3 games to be played. We do have afew die hard UT ppl and no matter what there is usally a UT server running. Its the game that we started out playing as a group, so I do not see it going away anytime soon.
  13. Damn it I just upgraded from 4.09 last night.
  14. "And, in case you were wondering - no, a dual 3D1 setup will not work. "
  15. One Word "WOAHW" DoomsDayHQ r0x! DX8 @ 1280*1024 w/ 32bit full anisotropic filtering and Triple buffering. It's a whole new game
  16. Idea for Febuary's... ... a retro lan party 486's only, 3.1x and the original doom running on a Lantastic network. Any one interested?
  17. This one sounds kinda like my all time favoratest game, Seven Cities of Gold (Apple IIx days) Used to play that and Castle Wolfenstien 24/7 when they came out.
  18. You might be right or you just have not had an IBM Compatible computer that long. I have only had 5 since my 233Mhz and before that the rest are from my old systems most of which just kept upgrading CPUs on the same MB. AMD 386DX-40Mhz - Late Nights Playing 1 on 1 modem to modem doom think atleast 1 full year on my life was lost. Nothing like 9600 Baud Intel 486SX-25Mhz - OC'd to 33Mhz - VLB AMD 486DX-40Mhz Intel 486DX/2-66Mhz Pentium-75Mhz NextGen 586-90Mhz K5-PR-100 6x86L-PR150+ Pentium-133Mhz Pentium-200Mhz Went through 5 AMD CPUs on a Atrend Motherboards and the Number Nine Revolution 3D (8Mb) AGP/Voodoo Banshee (16Mb) PCI were in that system. K6-233 MMX K6-2-266 MMX 3DNow! K6-2-350 MMX 3DNow! K6-III-450 MMX 3DNow! K6-2-550 MMX 3DNow! Also had an intel system at that time which had the Voodoo3 3000 and the TNT2 in it at different times. TNT2 was a piece of junk. They need to buy out voodoo before they could make a good card, funnty thing is it still have not happened. Pentium III-450 MMX SSE - OC'd to 600Mhz - I loved this chip on the aBit BX6 Rev2 board with a voodoo3 3000. Ran everything right up until UT2k3. ok I am done ranting, pulling a ellilion with age here. ---- BTW: Best all time graphics in a game goes to "Much Man"
  19. I did not relize we were going back that far. Cirrus Logic GD5402 (512KB) ISA - Still Have It. Diamond Viper (2Mb) VLB - The AGP of the ISA days Had another VLB card but can not remeber what it was Cirrus Logic 5430 (2Mb) PCI Had like 6 Trident PCI Cards (2Mb - 4Mb) Had a Diamond Stealth AGP card (4Mb) Had a ATi 128 Pro AGP (8Mb) something card
