Actually that kinda looks like a model I saw a couple years ago. I dont think I d-loaded it, but I have about 10 UTadd on CD's, so its a little hard to keep track. Time to gather them all together and burn them on a couple DVD's...the trick is finding them all at the same time

Or if the issue involves a combination of patches where one may cause a problem, or one without another being the issue. i.e. crashmodel/crashfix, bonuspack4/bonuspack4fix

Linx?? That was the old Commodore64 compression tools, I've got them on 360K floppies here somewhere :rotfl: Must mean linux, which version are you using? Mandrake, RedHat, Slackware? I've got a copy of Knoppix. Its a version of Linux that you dont have to install. It runs off the CD, and appears to be fully functional.

Gee, Look what I triggered with the mere mention of the game. It took me about 2 months to get through NWN, but Hordes only took a few days for some reason. My char is Lvl 22 ranger/Lvl 17 Sorcerer. but I have another one that is a lower level Paladin. I also made a few neat features of my own. A saved lvl of all the best weapons I could find in NWN, and another you can use to advance levels rather quickly......probably why Hordes didnt take long. of course the weapons I found in Hordes are far superior to whats in NWN, and theres a magic smith that will upgrade your weapons. Its expensive, but you can add acid, sonic, cold or electric damage, regeneration, and increase any weapon to +10 enhancement. Of course as soon as you start Hordes, someone shows up and steals all your equipment so you have to collect weapons again.I think the best one I found was a Greatsword+12,but I didnt put the weapons from Hordes in the collection level. Not sure the first game can handle them :popc:

Sorry Nem, some of us arent 24/7/365 gamers/posters yet. I had other things to do. For some reason with this 2.1ghz computer, I cant even beat the thing on adept.....go figure. Stuck on that dam boat for 2 weeks now.

Doom died with the Sega Genesis. I think we all have higher expectations from our games than we did then. I'll be bringing Neverwinter Nights if anyone is interested. Its a cool D&D game, but I need to give you time to build your experience level before you jump in the game with me....or I could create a new character. I dont think I have any save that are beloe level 20

Thanks guys. You saved me time d-loading and trying out the game...Of course, it is only a demo. Problem is its a little tough to return it after you purchased and installed the released version. These issues should be listed together and sent to the programmers. Maybe they can fix it. Sounds like there are some cool effects, in most games you cant blow up the buildings. :bump:

Dragon, I think we could do a better review than that. In fact I think its about the most boring hardware review I've seen. :flush: I think its time ATI heard from NTAC. We have multiple different systems to test them with for compatability and performance testing, and I'm sure we could make a much more attractive, proffesional review due to our various computer backgrounds and idea's. Well My PC will be safe, as long as there's power to get things running. All of you should think about getting a little backup battery to bring with you just in case......of course, then none of us would know when the breaker tripped.
