Sacred2
I got an ACer laptop for Christmas. I have been having a lot of trouble trying to get the wireless to work with a few distros. OpenSUSE 11.4, Sabayon, and a couple others. I am not an expert in Linuw to figure this out. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. Its fast boots up quick and shuts down quick. The laptop is this model. http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/LX.PZS02.082 I think it is an atheros nic. aspire 7552g-6061
mchlwvr614
Most familiar with Opensuse. Played around with Ubuntu too. Also run a FreeNAS box which is based off FreeBSD I think. Check this link out. http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Atheros_madwifi Edited April 28, 2011 by mchlwvr614
