PurSuiT
“If Yahoo! locates in Western New York, it would be an eye-opener for many other types of firms to look at us,” Schumer told The Buffalo News. The News reported Saturday that the Sunnyvale, Calif., company six weeks ago reached out to Gov. David A. Paterson’s administration about locating a data center in the state. Schumer, who was in town to give remarks at the University at Buffalo commencement, said he has known about the company’s interest in Western New York. He said he reached out to CEO Carol Bartz with a phone call Friday evening to let her know he will do whatever he can to get the company to locate here. http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/667876.html
ParoxysM
We have a data center in Cheektowaga and another in Niagara Falls. We lose power 2-3 times a year and have natural gas generators. I'm going to apply to be a tape monkey if they come...
