I liked the original planetside but didnt bother sticking with it as it had a few issues. One thing I want to see in a FPS MMO is true aim and shoot mechanic like normal FPS games. Original planetside though it was FPS setup still had to hit checks built in, or was it some form of correction system. Either way though close it wasnt true aim and shoot.
