At the last LAN... Bflo, Raimondo, and Dewenem77 were all playing this game if you can recall. It's a first person shooter that really stands out for 2 reasons. It's ballistics are the best I've seen anywhere (shoot whatya aim at) and it's objectivity and gameplay in general. Two Teams: Allies (usually offensive) and Axis (usually defending) Allies have to for example in the map "Fuel Dump" build the bridge get the Tank across, blow the Tunnel Gates, Guide tank to Axis Base and blow their wall... Get inside disable the fence to setup for Planting Dynamite at the 2 Fuel Dumps. 30 Minutes to decide who wins. 4 Classes that you can choose from on your either team: Field Ops: Supplys team w/ Ammo and calls Airstrikes and Artillery (Binoculars and Hit fire Key = Airplane comes from the sky and dropps bombs) Medic: Heals teamates and himself, revives them if they fall and don't tap out, and can use adrenalyn when established for 10 sec's of unlimited sprint and half damage. Covert Ops: Can steal uniform from fallen enemy and "disguise himself" to open up their doors and blend in, has upgraded sniper/scoped weapons, has a plastic explosive devise that blows fences, command posts, barriers, etc... Oh yeah, he has smoke nades and can spot enemy land mines too. Engineers: Has wrenches that build Command posts, Bridges, Controls, Fixes tanks, MG Gun Nests, etc... The Engie, Plants and Arms Dynamite for objectives which can't be done w/ Coverts "satchel charge", and plants landmines. Strafe Jumping is awesome but realistic in this game. You have sprint, alternate fires, multiple types of nades, stellar radio commands, etc... I'm in a clan that plays this game, so of course it's biased but trying to leave open ended for your own conclusions. It's totally free and needs to be patched once and you're ready to play. It's seen in All Seeing Eye and Gamespy and there's an aweful lot of servers that have it. It was a RTCW mod but is it's own entity now w/out affiliation because of some legal thing. Here's the game and here's the patch for playing. I use All Seeing Eye for seeing servers @ ASEs dwnld. You can download all three and start playing this game in about 20 minutes so give it a try... The last thing is not having some OEM maps but the game auto downloads them and play the 'etpro' mod inside of the game (sponsored by leagues) and not etmain or shrubet. GL and HF -Bflo-

Nem, <here> man... It's that CPUZ prog I toldya about. You can see if you're running dual-channel in the Memory tab where it says # of channels. It doesn't install and runs independant; furthurmore, I use it for lots of things... CPU Core Speed, FSB and Memory Allocation.

My AMD XP 2500 is OC'd to 2.3 Ghz @ 208 FSB. Runs like a dream w/ my Zalmans Heatsink/Fan. Idles @ 40 Degrees and gets to 48-50 w/ Prime95. Of course I have the Artic Silver and 2 fans funnelling cold air right onto it. I will be changing ratio's on my memory next... any suggestions? BTW, I have 2X 256 MB's Dual Channel GEIL sticks w/ Nvidia Chipset on EPOX Mobo. My 2.8Ghz P4 laptop on the otherhand is a lil more difficult to tweek though. I have the Omega Drivers and a tweek to ignore it's speedstepping, but that's about it. ATI is in denial about my 64 MB vid on this thing and avoids its existance.

I was using the patch/update for that BFV @ the LAN and was getting blue and red lines everywhere w/ my FX5900. I updated my drivers (non-omega) and reistalled it and got the same thing again, like I was using a wallhack or something. Anyways, I'm not so sure if I've crossed a line here on this post due to the forum nazi but if so... can you keep my "thank-you and have a nice day" -Bflo-

I had the most deaths too though Bobinator I'm oldschool capture the flag which has poluted my game w/ offensive tactics for years and years > high kill and death counts... I never played farcry multiplayer and only got to the outside of the boat on medium in first-person of that. I naturally excell at realistic games, and thanks for noticing. bobsbrat, that's kewl... Good time indeed and my two goons/friends were easy targets for the most part, except for Raimondo on BFV who did surprizingly well.
