im doing a reverse trace to my mdm from here at work and its alot less from going out from when i did it from home home to buffalo to rochester to scuse then boston, now it looks like a direct run from buffalo to boston, must still be playng with stuff ill have to run it from home again

well anyone can check this with a basic trace, speed test will be slower a touch since the "out" to the internet is in boston, not cleveland

umm ... when it done? and i was gonna try ATI chips in my next machine... probally going back to nvidia if they dont have it under control by the time i get to buying new video card(s)

there was a mistake in the prov platform the new system didnt take so well as it should have ... should be fixed now

ok was catching up on new hardware archutecture and cant find this... The AM2 motherboards im finding all say the memory they use are ddr2 800, can someone plug in something like ddr2 1100 in the same place and would it work? (theory keeping the memory speed in sync or faster than the FSB) To my techinical memory putting faster memory into a slower slot should work just want a definant answer.

may be time to start collecting new hardware... i smell new pc time , its been far too long
