  3. Too bad my acct got hacked...I hate Steam
  4. HIS ATI Radeon HD4870 You have little to no excuse now to buy one :party-drinkers1:
  5. Everything was working excellently as of an hour ago. I carefully disassembled, cleaned and gathered up as much of the original packaging/accessories as possible. FSB on motherboard was @ 296 (200 default) and CPU speed was 2.66GHz (1.8GHz default) running solid 24/7 with WCG @ 100%. Video card was overclocked moderately to 680/790 from 650/775. I didn't write down the memory timings, but they were pretty tight. Pricing is based on what I expect to get on eBay minus the WNYG discount :party-drinkers1: ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe 939 ATI CrossFire Radeon Xpress 3200 ATX AMD Motherboard - $90 AMD Opteron 165 Denmark 1.8GHz Socket 939 Dual-Core Processor - $60 MSI Radeon X1900XTX 512MB PCI Express x16 CrossFire Ready Video Card - $65 CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - $70 CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWINX1024-3200PT - Retail - $35 Thermalright SI-120 High Performance CPU Cooling Heatsink - $30 Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 550W ATX12V Power Supply - $65
  6. Let's try some GRID :party-drinkers1: COD4 or UT3 B.Ob. had hotdogs last summer, that was a good time. Maybe some of us could pitch in on dogs, burgers and buns?!?!
  7. It's not odd when you have twice the CPUs (actually 1.5x since they are slower)... Synthetic benchmarks = your system Games = my system
  8. I was getting 90-120 frames while playing GRID at the LAN with no studdering at 8x. I couldn't get 12x or 24x to work though...was probably doing it wrong.
  9. Once they get the drivers squared away and the price comes down to $300, then I will add one for a 3 GPU combo...
  10. Lol, I went home and connected mine upto my LCD TV too for the first time to play some GRID. The video was fine, but I couldn't get the optical audio to work with my receiver, so I just used my headphones with my daughter's G-Flex gaming chair. I only played a few courses as my carpal was killing me trying to play on my lap.
  11. You will need one of these to run 4 GPUs
  12. My friend has a set...in a case without a window. Just an over-priced novelty imo, doesn't overclock well either.
  13. Fun times were had...maybe I'll bring a case next time
  14. Looks like a packed house...get there early for a seat
  15. Crap, I might not be able to make this LAN...will be a last hour call (literally)
  16. Add some of this Recommend Use : High Performance or Gaming Memory
  17. After a few more driver updates; I will get another 4870...
