How much for the 2 gigs?

Oh and they said that Crysis would run 12%-15% better on a 64bit OS. Basicly I'm getting my system ready for Crysis. If it will run Crysis it will run anything else coming down the line for the next 2 years.

Wouldn't be interested in selling that old and dusty windows xp 64 bit would you?

I am highly enjoying Tampa since the tank is my weapon of choice 100% of the time, but the majority of my guild likes to ground pound. We all do get off the server to look for vehicles, but that's only like 20% of the time.

B.ob turn down the overclock and go for stability man!! I just turned 30 and suddenly my body doesn't want to heal as fast as it used to... I am an avid soccer player, skier, and golfer, and when I get hurt doing any of those, I don't bounce back as fast these days...

My guild and I have been playing Tabula Rasa and it's definately a wake up call for older systems. People are already asking for advice on upgrades and or newer drivers. Even w/ my system I'm not able to have max graphics in the game... I'm only at like 65% and Crysis is going to be even more demanding... I am actually very tempted to go to a 64bit operating system (definately not vista 64...) just so that I can go past 4gigs of ram and run games smoother.

Those screen shots are pretty intense... I guess I'll have to add more ram... I'm at 2gigs, I'm sure it will eat that up quickly.

You are all welcome to join my people an I on the XMC server. it's a 24/7 karkand no vehicles (not by my choice) but I have been running w/ my group for about 4 years now through different games. Just search for XMC and it's always nearly full at 32vs32. People w/ the |Unity| tag are my guys.

sry didn't finish my statment... since I won't do crossfire, I think it would be kinda cool to see 4 graphical instances of Seti, weather, or what ever else I have up on all 4 monitors.

I think I may hold off on doing the crossfire thing and just have 4 monitors going to have some fun. As of right now I'm not playing anything my current setup can't handle at max graphics. BF2 is easy, but Tabula Rasa is pushing it really... But it's only in Beta and it's only playable at certain times of the week.

I used to do SETI back in the day and you guys have gotten me interested in this again.

I love my Antec Trio 650. That is all.

I am playing the beta for Tabula Rasa by NCsoft and it's a hell of a lot of fun. Think WoW w/ much better graphics and more logical quests, Think Star Wars Galaxies, but better graphics and better game play, Think City of Heroes and a bit of SWG for the combat.

I tried installing Ubuntu on my Linux box and got istallation errors. 2 different downloads didn't pass the integrity check but the 3rd one did, and then when I finally got passed the CD check on the installer, the install bombed out on me. I'll try to swap out the HD I'm using for one of the others I have laying around and see if it makes a difference.

I just had a vision... My Intel D975XBX2 mother board has 3 PCIe slots, could I do crossfire in the 1st 2 slots w/ dual x1950pro's and then the 3rd slot run a pos PCIe to run 2 more monitors so that I get the benifits of crossfire on my main 2 monitors and then the extra other 2 monitors running off the 3rd card?

That's kinda sucky... I would have thought crossfire would be able to handle 4 monitors but I never did look into it. So crossfire can only do 2 monitors then? I found a guy w/ a garage full of monitors yesterday and I bought a 17inch for $10. He had 19inches for $15 - $30 as well.

Last night I tried logging in to the BF2 server from the IP on the main page here but I couldn't connect. I do had the Tampa map as well... Is the server inactive now?

I am actually looking for a couple more monitors for cheap. I'm building a linux box and my 15inch monitor decided to commit ritual suicide with out the ritual. Plus I'm going to get a second x1950pro 512meg pci soon for crossfire and I want to add a 3rd or 4th monitor at that time.

ok, I actually did a virtual drive for BF2 so I didn't have to keep up w/ my DVD anymore and I guess I will do the same for BFV (man I miss playing that game, flying choppers wasn't easymode like BF2 is and the music was bad ass). I don't have Fear, Stalker, Q4, SupCom, HL2, AVp2 or Far Cry... so I'm limited to BF2, BFV, City of Heroes/villians. My computer case is not travel friendly... it's a beast and heavier than my fiance I think lol. I keep thinking of going to a lighter and see through case but it's just so tall, has 8 fans (yet pretty darn quiet) and made of steel that I just can't let go of it.

What ever you have, dx9 or dx10, you are going to need an updated computer to really enjoy what this game has to offer.

Hello people, If I can make this, it would be my 1st lan party. I have been gaming for years but mainly with online guilds who's members are scattered accross the U.S. What do you bring to a lan party? CPU, Monitor, Keyboard/mouse, headphones, etc...

Have you looked at Fedora 7? I have been messing with Knopix a bit and I am now thinking of installing Fedora 7 x64bit as I have a quad core processor and my windows xp is 32bit. I tried testing out xp64bit but my raid-0 wasn't too happy with the install.
