Sorry to disappoint, however we are planning to play Solitaire for 4 hours straight. The seats are filling up pretty quickly over here, we're over 40 gamers registered so if you are coming from out of town make sure you register to make sure we reserve your seat!

When: Saturday April 7th, 2007 11:30:00 AM to Sunday 03:00:00 AM Focus: First Person Shooters Where: Commons Rooms 1300 - 1310 Who: 65 LAN Gamers, hosted by The Rochester Institue of Technology Chapter of Electronic Gaming Society Cost: $5 for non-members, Free for members. We've landed ourself a pretty sweet setup on campus in a room with 4 projectors, and easy access to a parking lot! We couldn't ask for more! We plan on having a Counter-Strike Source tournament as well as a Quake III for those who wish to ignore CSS existence! *** BUFFALO SNOW UPDATE *** Well for those who aren't in Buffalo right now, I called up the number on the site and talked to someone important enough to tell me they have no power right now, the NY State Throughway is closed, and we really don't know at the moment if by tomorrow things will be cleared up. I'd imagine the the Throughway to be cleaned up by tomorrow but, the power seems like it might be the biggest problem so I'm planning on give them a ring tomorrow morning and will post a bigger update but I'm not going to go unless I know for sure they've got power and the LAN is going to happen (as much as I'd love to get stuck in Buffalo!). So there's the latest update for the LAN Party (ironic how someone who has never shown up to a previous event is posting this -- gotta love the internet!). So Buffalo got dumped on with snow, are the plans still in place to hold the LAN Party? I heard you guys really got it good w/ power outages and such - which is very likely why no one has said anything about this yet!!! Well let me know if the LAN is still happening this weekend, if not let me know! Thanks guys!
