How many people can play in one NWN game? I know IceWind Dale 2 has a max of 6 party members.

How's the multiplayer on DS? I've never played but I'm trying to find a replacement for EQ (gack) that my roomie and I can play.

I'll admit to mentioning the Neverwinter Demo, but Bugs Bunny? I think not!

Thanks! I'm 27 now. A couple more years and I'll be moving to a retirement community down in Florida. I can sympathize with the the money thing. I've been eyeballing SFC3 since it came out but it still hasn't dropped from $50. I finally broke down and spent my Christmas BestBuy gift cards on it. I can't say I'm disappointed tho, the single player campaigns are fun. My only gripe is that you can't multiplayer campaigns, you can only do some form of death match or team death match. As for IceWind Dale 2. I played it for a couple hrs last nite, definitely not bad. It's got a good D&D feel to it w/o bogging the game down. I'll see if I can talk Jon into doing some multi-player with it to see how that end of the game is. I'm pretty sure that Neverwinter is along the same lines. I know there is a downloadable demo for Neverwinter, I dunno if IceWind Dale 2 has one.

D2 was an OK game. I enjoyed it greatly when I was into playing it. But, I'll also tell you it gets old pretty quickly. Once you've beaten the game twice, it ceases to be much fun. I will say I've never played PK tho, so it might be fun to take on real people. On a side note I just pick up IceWind Dale 2 for my B-day. Haven't played it yet but I'll let you know how it is. It's another D&D style overhead rpg.

I never played Bridge Commander or Armada. I had elite forces 1, the multiplayer on that game blew. But back to the subject at hand. SFC3 is the same idea as the previous 2 except much more refined. You are in control of a star ship and you battle out skirmishes with other star ships. Think of it as a star ship fps. Some strategy is involved tho, you generally can't just run in there with phasers blazing and hope to do any real damage unless you really outclass your oponent. Single player has a bunch of missions, which is pretty cool, but that's not on topic.

I just picked up a copy of ST:SFC3 at BestBuy this weekend (gift cards). Not a bad game. I'd be interested to see this mamma jamma at a lan party. See if you FPS psycho's can handle a game that requires tactics and planning. j/k

Yah, one would think you could manage to get 10 guildies online at the same time to approve the new guild tho. *shrug* Good luck.

Let me just highlight the ONLY important part of this arguement.

Technically yes I do, on the Nameless. My friend did exactly that and started a guild. Let me tell you something. Don't bother doing it. If you can't even gather together 10 people to start the guild you are going to have a hell of a time garnering membership after the fact. And you're going to reach the point where you need a good number of guildies to help you with things, like quests, your epic, so on so forth. My suggestion is to find an existing guild that suits your needs (friendly, or raid centric, etc...) and join them.

WWAHHHH Jay can't kill you in under 30 seconds, so it's not fun!
