  1. That joystick port is also used as a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) port, or as Creative Labs named it (which is now the standard) MPU-401. Since MIDI can use parallel, serial, or MPU-401, this is not specifically called a MIDI port, but it is by far the most common way for musical devices to connect to your computer.

    :dork:

  2. Results

Based on your answers to the above questions, your current life expectancy is 59 years. If you're not happy with the result, consider that by adopting a healthier lifestyle and avoiding various risk factors, you can increase your life expectancy by up to 15 years.

Your "ideal" weight for maximum longevity is: 184 lbs.

The three biggest positive factors that you have going for you are:

    1. Age of grandparents

    2. Drinking

    3. Blood pressure

The three biggest negative factors that you have going for you are:

    1. Drinking B) :WTF:

    2. Blood pressure :D :WTF:

    3. Personality type

Well, I suppose it's time I cut back on Quizno's Double-Bacon BLT's....not sure whether or not the drinking and blood pressure are supposed to be good or bad things though...that's kinda scary...

  3. I never said that the Audigy cards were better than X-Fi, I did, however, say that the Audigy was my favorite, and the X-Fi was overkill for just a gaming system. If you're doing music as well as games, follow the leader and get an X-Fi. They are better, if you actually have the need for it. For the price difference on ZipZoom, I would jump on it, too.

  4. I have a personal fancy for Audigy ZS cards, but that's just me. Never used the Gamer's edition though. X-Fi cards are pretty nice, but I think it's a little bit of overkill just to play games with. The Audigy 4 card would be nice, but the Audigy 2 ZS comes with a bunch of games, too...very nice software bundle, great price for the card (retail is usually around $140), and one of the best gaming/EAX sound processors around. :dork:

  5. Greetings and salutations from Shaggy's Frag Shack, of Cheektowaga!! Bumped into your nifty site here by just putzing around on the 'net, and decided to say hello. After talking to Bobsbrat, it seems to me that (aside from your Extravaganza events) we are pretty much the same....bunch of friends getting together once a month to frag, kill, and destroy til the wee hours of the morning! My kinda people!! B)

At any rate, I believe we will have a presence at your next Extravaganza on April 8th, and with any luck, make some new friends in the LAN Gaming community.
