New patch is out and ATI beta drives that fix the map load bug. I did see it only works on 5xxx series cards, but I might try it out later.

Yep. The 25% off code is no longer good. Sigh... All I hope to get out of this game is better online match making and some kind of ladders. What I expect is just upgraded graphics and a new story line. I like FPS, but I would rather play a RTS any day over a FPS.

$60 and the reviews say it's starcraft 1 w/ newer graphics... nothing exciting but I guess people will have to get it just because.
I loved the first Starcraft and I don't see why they would mess up a good thing. I just hope that they really make the online mutiplayer and LAN work much better. I just want to find an RTS that really catches on and alot of poeple play.

Newegg put a 6/30/2010 release date on their site. Sounds like this is going to happen after Massive LAN.
Massive LAN is 7/9 - 7/11! either that or some overnight shipping action!!!
It will be close. I plan on droping some money on the collectors edition at my local EBgames so that I know they will have it in the store, and my wife doesn't have to know.

I have a sweet stereo sound (sound blaster emu4040)card and a USB Digital to Analog converter AKA (FUBAR II) that I can sell. They just do stereo, but they are super clear sounding.

All in all, I think a good time was had by all!
Who knew that GTA IV would be so hilariously fun! Can't wait to play it in May... It would be awesome to fill a server (the site says it supports 32 players!)

geez, then how are you able to game with us for 12 hours... or did you bribe one or more of her GF's to keep her busy for awhile!
LOL, the the main reason why she is bring up every little thing is I put my foot down and said I am going to this event. :groupwavereversed: She might let me go to the massive lan for one day, but not for two. It really is a small price to pay for having a wonderful family, but I figured there are a few family men here who can relate.

I stand by my word as being a guitarist for 20+ yrs, any thing over medium on Rock Band, Guitar Hero or any other game, you should just pick up the real thing and start learning. :groupwavereversed:

Very cool! I really liked the drums in Rock Band 2 and I was a drummer in highschool and it believe that it does help. I don't have much natrual musical talent, but I do see these games as being perfect to start poeple in the right direction.

Well my stay at home wife used to be in marketing and made lots of flyiers. I will see if she would like to make something up for us. Are the sponsers that are on the LPE website up to date? Just thinking of ideas for the flyer.

i have so far seen less than impressive reviews on this chip. I do hope that some day I can upgrade my Athlon II for a black edition Phenom with six+ cores, but Honestly I don't know if it would be worth it over getting an 58XX type of video card upgrade.

We could do some Shattered Horizons again, but I like TF2 and UT. I still wish that you could buy a guest pass from steam or someone else at the lan party suggested a site license for a specific IP address for a day so that a bigger LAN party could pay one price and everyone plays the game for free.
Did I mention that Left 4 Dead 2 was on sale?
