We have spots for 35 so let us know you're coming to guarantee one. The cost will be $5 per person to cover the hall rental, as such we will not be providing food or drinks. Food and drinks can be purchased from the bar/kitchen down stairs. We will be doing a 50/50 drawing. Thanks!

Welcome to the Club! We have several members who have kids, families, etc.. I myself have no kids (that I know of), but a wifey who sometimes acts like one! Our next event is at my place on August 11th, if you wanna come check it out? (in Tonawanda!) My house isn't toddler proof though...
Next month's event will be at "Pursuit's" place and he has some toddlers of his own! (he in Hamburg!)

I'm sure you have checked with Newegg or Tiger Direct?? I just bought a external USB 3.0 3.5" enclosure and put a 1Tb hdd I had lying around in it for Massive LAN! and it works great! (so far!!) the speeds are quick and we'll see how it does at ML...
The part number of what I got is - ThermalTake Silver River 5G unit
Let me know what he gets as I'm curious to how it works out...

It was a nice change having "summer food" instead of the usual pizza & wings!
UT3 was a nice change... (If we play it more often, I'll leave it installed!)
and Val was thanked by looking in the bowl and said "wow! I didn't think your guys would eat as much pasta as they did!" so she was happy!!
I think the agreement was to have August here too? Then back to the Dome in September...

How come we aren't using the Dome anymore? Loved their food.
I think 14 guys just bro-ing down in the pool, stewing in each other's juices sounds great.
We are still doing the Dome, it's just that we know it would be really hot up there with no AC, as for the 'bro-ing in the pool' I knew not everyone would use it as most seem to be afraid of it!
As for next month, it's Massive Lan time, and dunno about Augusts' yet...

Hey all, Lapres and XFCJ have found some cool games waiting to be greenlighted on Steam. I went to the site to make a donation so I can receive them now. The site is http://groupees.com/bagb2 and it it recommended to get "Mini Racers Street" and "Darkspot". The racing one is like the Micro Machines game from way back and the Darkspot is like Terraria meets Silent Hill!
That is all, now go get the game(s)!
The proceeds go to help a sick kid! and these look like they could be good LAN party games! (as the mini racers one supports 12 in MP!)
