I've never used one nor know of anyone that has. There are enough good weekly deals on major brands that I would not risk it. Im not sure how big you want to go - 16-port. A gigabit switch would be sweet if we all had gigabit NICs or at least the servers did.

I posted in another thread that I was unable to ping that IP...still unable to. Maybe it's just me.

I installed this yesterday and it totally b0rqed my computer. It made me update to DX9.0b from 9.0a and messed up my Omega drivers (Rad 9700 Pro Ult). I lost all textures in Halp and BF. After reinstalling/reconfiguring the video drivers, Halo was still messed up, but BF was fine. I might reinstall Halo tonight if I feel ambitious.

Unable to connect/ping that server...

I went to a LAN yesterday and played EOD (Eve of Destruction). It was alright, but hard to see with all the trees and bushes everywhere. I alot of walking through rivers/creeks too.
