Yep, its the posts from the past 24 hours.... Once we get moved over to the new platform, I'll be looking to make changes, like that.
Hmmm I suppose I should start working on that huh....
Oooh if only there were more hours in a day (or less work...)
I vote for LESS WORK & MORE PAY!!!

I second that vote!

Only afew more years 'till "no new taxes" as Bush had promised???

I would never do that, but now that your signed up on this board you can post the pics you have of your system.

Don't think I would consider anything other then a nForce2 chipset at the moment though.
I got both a
nForce2 MCP-T
nForce2 Ultra400
chipset and they both are quite stable

Got the Dlink DGS-1008D 8-Port Gigabit Switch hooked up with two INTEL Pro 1000 MT Desktop NICs. Dropped Freddy vs. Jason from one computer to another in 20secs, that 700MB in 20 secs, not bad at all.

I can boot fine and run desktop apps at 12 * 232 ~ 2784Mhz as soon as I hit anything graphical highest stable rate I can get is 11.5 * 202 ~ 2323Mhz
I want to see screenshots...that's a hugh difference between "stable" and boot.
If I put my same chip in an Epox board, I can oc much higher, but not that much. Im calling BS
The October Bios update made it so that I could only select 2500+ or 3200+ and had to leave everything set auto. Flashed the bios last night to the November rev. and I am back to a stable 11.5 * 202, with no over volting.
WinMSD
3dMark2003 - I realize that alot of ppl do not think of this a true benchmark any more, I just use it to make sure I can run all test with no system lockups.

Here's what you need for monster cooling....a jet engine for the cpu
ACB-V83 Jet 7 Socket 370 Cooler
of course, I picture 3 of these mounted on the back like a Veritech fighter. That PC will fly
Reviews on that Jet fan say it is very loud

hmmm... they already have anti cheat software built in to it. If you run a server and use BF Server Manger there is an option to "allow modded dll"
Only thing is that with that option turned off you can not play any mods nor use and no cd patches. Wonder what this means to the mod commuity? They have to register there mods with EA?

Since you're on such roll w/ buying this & that Pursuit, I wouldn't mind U getting ME a dlink gigabit switch. Make sure that U throw in a gigabit router as well. I'll pitch in & get the gigabit nic myself
Thanx Pursuit.

Sorry Nem I am all out of eBay profit for now. Selling Frontpage 2000 was what put this deal over the top and why I got the NIC too.
What does Frontpage 2000 go for on eBay?
Maybe you can sell off some stuff

OK, I broke down and had to get it... Also pick up another Intel MT 1000 Desktop NIC... I feel like the Koolaid Man busting through a brick wall.
D-Link DGS-1008D 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Switch
Oh ya!
See all ya saturday!

Oh no, Better watch out, BoB and I will have to bust out with Muchman, TI Invaders and Car Wars.
- cassette loaded
save cs2
call clear
old cs1
- busting out my old modem for alittle online 300bps action

Personally I am with BoB on this one and would only look at the Intel MT NIC. Figured I would list the other ones for those looking to make the leap on a budget. The offloading on the Intel NICs seem to give back 5% to 15% of your CPU.
INTEL Pro 1000 MT Desktop PCI Network Adapter, Model PWLA8391MT - Retail $43

No rebate on this one, and it's a name brand

Dlink DGS-1005D 5-PORT GIGABIT SWITCH DESKTOP - RETAIL
The more I look at these switch the more differences I see.

Cool beans!! Now that I have my system how I'd like it, I'll have to get Battlecraft and make a map of PurSuits garage!! We know thats where all the action is....
My garage seems more like a room out of Duke3d, the ones with the power problems, that the light keep going on and off in.
