hey all how you doing? I am doing great got a new job yesterday. Goin to be part of the helpdesk with the catholic health system. Its 3 mon contract but as long as you take care of your end no reason it won't go perm. Monday thru Friday 8 to 5 no weekends here I come. Did someone mention Golf?

I have not had good luck with getting decent contract jobs then.

I need a job that pays well and is steady. I cannot go from contract to contract. My wife will be starting bennies thru her job soon, her pay will be 60.00 less. If doing phone work is only way I can get into Ingram thats fine with me. The majority of the job I have has been doing some sort of phone work. I would love to get into building and repairing again but those jobs have seemed to have dried up and the pay is not that decent.

I know thats why I want to get the job.

Does anyone work at or know anyone that works at Ingram Micro? They gave me a call today. I think it went well. I know its tough getting a job there so any help would be much appreciated.

I decided to get the Antec 900 case. I ordered from Newegg it came yesterday. I would like to use the audio ports on the front of the case. The manual only talks about connecting it to the motherboard. I have a SB X-Fi Extreme Music card. I would like to know if it is possible to connect that card to the audio ports on the front. If not is the a decent Sound card that will. Something that is 5.1 and id good for games and decent for music. I have not been happy with the X-Fi card. Too many issues with the sound crackling and such.

I think I might just use the case she got me. Its not a bad case. I just need to add a couple fans and I am sure it will be cool. Sure they will only be 80 mm but thats fine that will suck in enough air to keep things cool not gonna be doing any OC anyways.

Only issue I have is that it has no PSU. not sure if my PSU power cable will stretch to the MB. It should though right.

The buzz in the grapevine is that Time Warner is selling the High Speed Internet. They are only required to keep the call center in our area open until June 1'st. Some employees are already looking to get out. Some are trying to relocate but that probably won't happen.

All moved into my first home. Woo hoo. Was very hectic for awhile but all is well now. Still can't find my headphones and printer power cord. Told wife might just buy a new printer it only cost like 50.00 anyways had it for almost 3 years. Got my DSl working that took awhile. need to get a new washer. took 3 times tell we got one that fit downstairs. There dollly bashed up the bottom of it.

Do any of you that play WoW use any add-ons. Like an add on that shows your coordinates. or a good UI add-on. I would like to know whats good and where I can get it. And if it is safe. I don't have BC yet.

It must me in gaming mode for BF2 to select that option. I was having that same issue in BF2 until I throw it in gaming mode. I got my xfi working for 2 days and the rebooted on the 3rd and now it is undectable by the drives and is in device manger as "Multimedia Audio Device" with a yellow "!" on it. uninstalled everything reinstalled a dozen times/ways same result. Was reading forums and some of the X-Fi are tagged with the wrong hardware ID's and the software does not see them properly when there is an IRQ conflict. That is as much info as I can find as Creative has been telling ppl to just send them back for RMA 8 to 12 weeks for a replacement/refurb. I am returning mine to newegg for RMA tomarrow ok reinstaled card and set DX hardware accel to standard I have sound in WoW it just the ambient sound does not work you know sounds like when you or someone else is walking. I hear the characters talk and the spells alll work. Anyone on Elune Medivh or Hydraxis servers

What is wierd is that everything elkse sounds is great. I can play CoH NWN2 Titan Quest sound is great with those games.

no have not checked that. forgot about that actually. will have to check the X-Fi settings.

And Play WoW and have an X-Fi sond card. I install card play the game once sound seems to be fine then next time I play I have no sound at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the card already still same issue. Tried updating drivers don't think it took. A few time have had crackling issues in WoW only. I can listen to CD's listen to music I downloaded and play other games with no issues at all. I am considering trading my X-Fi Extreme gamer card for a card that works with WoW and all my other games and music as well. Any help would be appreiated.

Does this mean that your Wife will need to pay a monthly subscription to U so that she can still have access to U??!! -- Nem lol will try not to let the game take over like I did with EQ 1. What servers are good though? Have no idea as I do not play WoW Ok to the people that do Play WoW What servers are good? DO you like playing Horde?
