In the last year and a half are there any games that you wish you had not spent the money on. I am sure there has to be a few.

I have 2 Harddives. 1 is almost 4 years old though, 40 Gb drive. The new one is a 160 Gb Seagate drive I divided up 20 Gb partition had OS and a few other programs 10.5 Gb is free. The other partition 16.6 Gb is free but I still have to install Bf 2 on it. The 40 Gb drive is very loud high pitch sound. I do have a 2 month old dvd burner Ben-Q 1640 very nice drive. The 40 GB wd I want to replace. My board does have SATA. Is Sata reliable can you boot with SATA. My regular dvd drive started acting flaky. It doesn't recognize the CD or dvd if it is already in drive on boot but will if I open and close. Thinking about getting a more up to date dvd drive.

How much HD space is too much? I am thinking about getting a new harddrive but how do you know what will be big enough. at some of the e-tailers a 300 Gb hd goes for between 105.00 and 134.00. Woulld 300 Gb be enough space or should I go for more.

I know how that is. bought DS 2 but when I got home I still played guild wars.

got DS 2 today was on sale for 29.99. anyone else have DS 2.

forgive me I should not have used LCD. I have a 21 inch flat screen CRT. its huge. 1152 * 864 is actually a very nice rezz for playing games. Guild Wars is fantastic. I hear AoE 3 has some awesome graphics.

I don't think my screen will limit me at all. I have a mammoth 21 inch flat panel lcd. I don't think I will be bringing that to the lan. Its huge. I have a 17 innch just sitting aroung. I usually play game at the res just below 1280x764 I think its something like 1152x864. Yes it is a nice card I needed it.

What resolution do you play your games at? and why? Do you think the resolution could be too high and causing lagg.

I thought about FEAR. I might get EE2 then I have a copy of BF2 I downloaded. I have not played in awhile didn't like it but mifght be because I had my old video card at that time. Might look much better with 6800 gs. EE2 and FEAR sound cool. Might wait to see if AoE3 goes on sale.

I think its about time I bought a new game. What game is worth the 50.00? SHould I get EE1 or 2 EE1 is like 20.00 now. Anyone get AoE3 yet. CoD2 and BF2 worth the price of admission. What about Star Wars Battelfront. LoTR how is that.

basically money is extremely tight with me. I have 2 kids daughter 3-1/2 years old. and my son is 3-1/2 months old. I like to try and find things on sale or just wait it out. sometimes I dowload the games.

Thats great I am happy for you. I am not able to go out and spend to 40 to 50 each time a good game comes out. I have to give you credit for at least responding to my post though.

I wasn't able to unlock the 4 extra pipes but I did unlock the 6'th vetex unit. Thats ok got what I paid for.

Anyone playing Age of Empires 3. wondering if thats worth getting.

not if you buy the same ram with same timing. The performance loss with 4--512 sticks is about 3 to 5% only way to see that difference is when benchmarking. You will not notice a 3 to 5% loss in performance while gaming.

If anyone wants to catch me online in Guild Wars I mainly play and Sorceres Valaria or Bobby Flay sometimes Yan Can.

sounds like fun. My vieo card I currently have will hold me back though. can't wait for new one to get here. bummer back to phones. too many stupid people calling tonight. I hate repeating myself.

What games will you alll be playing? I mainly play MoH and Guild Wars. I have Half-Life and UT also. Have not played them ina long time though.
