Support for DirectX 11 and OpenGL 3.2 will get HD game graphics on the display. ATI Eyefinity multi-monitor technology is supported, and for connections the graphics card carries twin dual-DVI port and mini DisplayPort. This graphics monster is ATI CrossFireX ready and would require CrossFireX supporting motherboard.

 

ATI's Stream Technology and also the DirectCompute 11 that will offload the CPU intensive tasks to the dual-GPUs on the board. Power is the most important factor for this dual-GPU graphics card and ATI PowerPlay will aid drawing power according to the GPU activity. Movie buffs will enjoy the Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio support for the latest Blu-ray discs.

I just wish they had a 5970 with more than two displays. Right now you have to get an active splitter or active display in order to get the eyefinity to work on three montiors. Two monitors is just silly for FPS
