Nemesis
Hey everyone, I found this little tidbit on a much awaited game for us PC users that I thought U would all like to see.. "We recently gave a visitor from the press a chance to check out Halo 2 for Windows Vista first-hand. PC Gamer Magazine asked Microsoft about the latest crop of Windows games, and they were curious about Halo 2. We opened up the pot lid to show them what we had cooking, including the very latest code – which so far hasn’t left Hired Gun’s offices – and an exclusive look at the abilities of the custom map editor. It was on late notice, so there was a bit of adrenaline as we fixed last-minute bugs and begged, borrowed, and stole enough AV equipment to give the best impression, but we pulled it off with time to spare and were pretty happy with the demo." B.Ob.
Halo 2 Vista FAQ How do visuals and audio compare between Halo 2 for Windows Vista and the Xbox versions? The quality of H2V scales with the hardware it has available. This will be the first time Halo 2 fans can play the game natively at resolutions like 1080p or even higher. The base art and audio from the Xbox has been re-used, with some retouching to help the game shine on high-end PC equipment. Audio will also scale with the equipment of your PC, and the game supports 5.1 surround sound. Suffice it to say that Halo 2 has never looked better and playing the game at 1920x1200 is a thing of beauty.
