Does it really need to be a laptop? Those small Shuttle boxes look pretty cool, and you can put nearly any video card in them!! They come in both flavors now, AMD and Intel...

Hmmm, I didn't see the GeForce4 Go 4200 as an option.... B) I think that is the most powerful mobil vid chipset to date...

Also, if you plan on running Doom3 on it, wait for the next mobil chipset (if you can) generation.

Oh, this isn't going to be something I purchase over the next couple of weeks. I won't get it until I have cash in hand, which is being skimmed off the money I'm making working overtime. Even then, it's a pipe dream and a bit down the road. By the time I end up getting one, Alienware may not be the best one I can find, and even then, there's will most likely have different specs.

You'll probably get an off-shoot of this type of system:

The 3D performance you'd probably want to take with a grain of salt, since they have different video chipsets (but the nVidia does smoke the ATI) but is quite impressive never-the-less!!!

Also has built-in 802.11b....
